Taliesin

Frank Lloyd Wright created a beautiful home and school of architecture near Spring Green, Wisconsin beginning in 1911. He called this Taliesin, Welch for "shining brow", because he positioned the house on the "brow" of a hill so the structures would appear to rise naturally from the landscape. This statue was in the garden, but later moved within this stone corridor to protect it from further decay from the weather. Kim's texture, 'happy heart', was the perfect remedy to tone-down the bright light coming in from top left. I used blend mode - darken at 66% and then erased over the face area to retain the sweet softness Wright captured.
